The land where the house stands has a steep slope on a slope from which there is a wonderful view of the undulating lines of the hills going toward the sea. In the plan, the contour lines seem to draw a stormy sea, on which the building plunges like the hull of a boat. The ‘entrance located on the terrace leads to the lower floor, which through a large window opens onto the quiet horizon. The sharp and decisive geometries of the house emphasize the desire to create a relationship with the place through a strong contrast with the organic and fluid forms of the typically Mediterranean context.
