The site of this project is characterised by elongated rectangular agricultural plots marked out by dry stone walls that create a regular pattern on hilly terrain. These elements were analysed, reworked and shaped to become the prime material for the design idea. This idea was to design a home that created both a dialogue and a continuous direct relationship with the surrounding environment. Continuing the lines made by the dry stone walls, shaping them in such a way as to create dividing walls linked to subtle horizontal elements, resulted in a building that is in complete harmony with its setting. The internal spaces enter into a visual relationship with the external spaces through large windows that enhance panoramic views of the surrounding nature. Outside, the swimming pool by the main façade projects the house towards the horizon.
