The house is located in the heart of the historic centre of Cisternino and overlooks the town's main square, which with its clock tower, proportions and typical elements symbolises the icon of the Italian piazza. The project provided for the recovery of the building, cleaning it of extraneous elements that had been added over time, bringing back to light the building's original forms with the typical vaults that define and characterise the interior spaces, making them special. In order to respond to the new requirements and current living standards, aesthetically non-invasive and low environmental impact plant systems were created that guarantee a high level of comfort. Through the detailed design of every single element of the house, the choice of materials and finishes, it was possible to maintain the charm of the historic building while giving it a more welcoming contemporary atmosphere consistent with the lifestyles of our times.
