The project site is separated from the nearby bay by a road that creates a visual barrier to the sea; the idea was to lift the building to create a direct connection between the house and the sea. This upward movement created a sheltered and multifunctional space. Access up a staircase that vanishes as it climbs leads to an open space that contains the living area overlooking the sea. At the back of the house, the bedrooms are arranged around an internal courtyard that is home to the pool. Screening surfaces filter the light, protecting from the wind and excessive solar radiation, as well as guaranteeing privacy.
