Casa Bellavista

Situated on the steep slope of a hillside terraced with dry stone walls, the house opens onto breathtaking views of the valley below that leads down to the sea. The main façade opens east to the sea and is protected to the north by a long, dry stone wall that provides shelter from cold winds. The roof is defined by a thin horizontal line beneath which rooms and empty spaces alternate to create the living areas. The rooms that make up the living space vary from one to the other and come together to create an articulation of spaces. The stone base acts as a podium and a link to the site, creating a continuity between the spaces of the house and the landscape in which it is immersed.
